Housing

At Housing Works, we believe as a core value that Housing is Healthcare.

Housing Works is committed to developing affordable housing and providing safe, supportive, and stable homes for homeless New Yorkers, including individuals living with HIV/AIDS and other chronic health conditions. Grounded in the belief that safe housing is the first step towards independent living, we prioritize housing as a foundation for growth. Once residents are securely housed, we connect them to the life-saving services they need and coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.

Across our scatter-site and congregate housing programs, Housing Works operates more than 850 units of housing throughout New York City. To date, we have directly developed 142 units, with an additional 151 units currently under construction, slated for completion in 2026.
