24/7 access to our curated collections of fashion, books, and home décor! We’ll ship right to your door, and as always, all proceeds support our lifesaving services and relentless advocacy.

For over a decade, Housing Works Bookstore has established itself as a New York downtown institution and tourist destination. Nearly all of our stock is donated, and we are staffed with the support of volunteers, so 100% of our profits go to fund Housing Works' lifesaving services. Check out our calendar for special events or stop by to shop books, media, gifts, as well as a curated selection of thrift clothing and housewares. We pride ourselves in being a great place to shop and meet friends for a coffee or glass of wine. Our one-of-a-kind space is available for rent, and we host weddings and special events almost every weekend.

In addition to books and media, the Bookstore now accepts donations of gently used clothing, shoes, accessories, decorative housewares, art and antiques.

Please limit book and media donations to 2 bags or boxes per customer.
